Bringing 25 years of sustainable
investing expertise to Asia
Sustainable and Responsible Investment has been the guiding principle of Ofi Invest’s investment frameworks for more than 25 years. We proudly share the same DNA as our parent company when it comes to responsible investments and our convictions push us to continually invest in talent and research.
We are convinced that issuers that incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors in their strategy offer better long-term growth prospects and help to promote sustainable development while creating value for the investor.
We apply the principles of responsible investment to all of our investment processes through a variety of measures. The entire range of mutual funds managed by Syncicap Asset Management is classified as Article 8 under the SFDR regulation*.
*About SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation)
SFDR is a European regulation that seeks to render the non-financial characteristics of investment funds more transparent, particularly their environmental impacts.
Funds are sorted into three categories: article 6, 8 or 9. Article 8 funds are products that promote environmental and/or social characteristics, among others, but do not have these themes as an investment objective.
Make your investment worthy, make it responsible.
We aspire to be a key player in the world of responsible investment
We aim to play a role in enhancing people’s wellbeing, while combating climate change and preserving biodiversity. To do so, we integrate sustainability risks into our investment processes.
Our practices in the areas of governance, exclusion, ESG incorporation in fund management and engagement (dialogue and voting) enable us to drive our approach as a responsible investor forward.
Ofi Invest applies the principles of responsible investment to most of its investment processes through a variety of measures.
